Post Payments Bank to be Launched by PM on August 21
After a long waiting period, the government has finally released the launch date for the ambitious India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) which is August 21. It will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.

Although two IPPB branches are already operational as of today, the official launch will allow 648 new branches to be added to the system as well. The aim is to ensure there is at least one branch in every district across the country.
