President Ram Nath Kovind Assures Building 2 cr Houses Under PMAY

This Thursday, President Ram Nath Kovind said that around 2 crore houses will be built in the villages across India under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) during the next 3 years. He said that women are being given first preference in the registration of the houses under the scheme in rural areas.
PMAY scheme which looks to providing “housing for all” is divided into two parts which are PMAY (rural) and PMAY (urban).
