Quick Receipt of Input Tax Credit, Cash Crunch Some of the Major Issues for Startups

Startups across the country are looking for relief from issues like cash crunch and slow receipt of the input tax credit from GST payments in the upcoming budget.
Siddharth Pai, who is the founder of 3one4 Capital said that start-ups are unable to get credit from traditional lenders and NBFCs which is making it difficult for them to get loans. Similarly, founder of LocalCircles Sachin Taparia said that crunch around working capital is a major problem for the start-ups and it’s aggravated by the fact that GST refunds are often pending with the government for long periods.
