Rahul Gandhi Said This on NDA Govt’s Decision to Slash Corporate Tax Rate

After finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a sizeable cut in the corporate tax rate, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that it’s been done to boost the stock market ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Howdy Modi event in Houston. He also said that the mess Modi has driven into can’t be hidden by any event.
Nirmala Sitharaman recently slashed the base corporate tax rate for existing companies from 30% to 22%. The same for new firms has been slashed from 25% to 15%.
