RBI to launch Mega General Awareness Campaign

The Reserve Bank of India is planning to launch a full-fledged multi-lingual and multi-media campaign to create awareness among the people about its various initiatives and regulations.
As per the document concerning the central bank’s expression of interest, the campaign will be in 14 different languages with focus on the regional languages. Its annual target is 15 radio spots, 15 print advertisements, and 15 TV commercials.
RBI will also roll out the “Suno RBI Kya Kehta Hai” campaign under which it will send SMSes to the people to create awareness about various frauds.
