Reliance, Adani to Setup Multi-Billion Dollar Battery Factories in India

Perhaps realizing the emerging energy trends, heavyweight companies Reliance Industries, Adani, Hero Motorcorp, etc. are planning to enter into the battery manufacturing business and set up assembly plants worth several billion dollars in the next 10 years.
According to a report published at factordaily.com, India’s largest company Reliance Industry plans to set up a factory that will produce lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 25 GWh. Similarly, the JSW Group is planning to set up its own battery manufacturing factories apart from launching its own electric vehicles by 2020.
