Rs. 398 cr Worth of Development Projects Approved for Ludhiana by Punjab Government

Punjab CM Amarinder Singh said that he has “gifted” projects worth Rs. 398.12 crores to Ludhiana for its infrastructural development.

Singh, who was recently on a visit to the city, unveiled 7 major projects covering the city’s infrastructure. These included Smart Street Phase-1 Malhar Road, Sarabha Nagar marketing retrofitting, LED street lighting, 24-hours water supply scheme, etc.

According to an official, the initial process for LED street lighting has already been initiated. It aims at replacing as many as 105,000 lights with their energy-efficient LED counterparts.
