SAARC Fund to Roll Out Social Enterprise Programme in India, 7 Other Countries

SAARC Development Fund (SDF) will launch a Social Enterprise Development Programme (SEDP) in India as well as 7 other member nations to fund 80 entities every year.
SDF CEO Sunil Motiwal said that the corporation will launch SEDP in an effort towards building social enterprises with the help of concessional returnable capital and a mix of grants. He said that it has already committed a fund of $73.74 million out of which around $47 million has been disbursed to this date.
