Sales of Phone Accessories Boosted with TikTok Popularity

Even as Chinese social media app TikTok continues to create controversy, its popularity has led to an increase in the sales of phone tripods and accessories by up by 10 times a year. These accessories are used by TikTok users to create entertaining videos.
According to a report, accessories like mobile holders, cables, and connectors are selling like never before on top eCommerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. The spokesperson from these platforms said that they have seen sales increasing anywhere between 3 to 10 times a year.
