Saudi Arabia to Invest $300 bn in India in Next 4-5 Years

Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog, said that Saudi Arabia will invest $300 billion in India in the next 4-5 years. He said that the oil-nation wants to invest in energy security and supply and make India an investment partner.

Kant said that the union government will bring a new “Energy Policy” for the country within 4-6 weeks. He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also focusing on developing a national grid for gas.

On the day of the announcement, Modi interacted with some of the prominent oil and gas experts, including CEOs of BP, Rosneft, Saudi Aramco, etc.
