SBI Appoints Hardayal Prasad as New CEO and MD of SBI Card

SBI Card, which is the credit card issuing body of public sector State Bank of India (SBI), said in a statement that it has appointed Hardaya Prasad as its new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
Prasad, who is replacing Vijay Jasuja who retired at the end of last month, has been working for SBI since 1983 starting as a probationary officer. SBI Card said that over all these years he has gained experience in several areas of banking and worked in multiple locations all across the nation.
Prasad’s term as the new CEO and MD started on February 1st.
