SBI Card Gains 10 Lakh New Customers Over One Year

The SBI Cards and Payment Services Private Ltd. i.e. SBI Card, in a press release said that its customer base has grown to 50 lakh now as about 10 lakh new customers were added during last year.
It also said that the company has observed a “significant increase” in the card spending which has now reached above Rs. 5,500 crores from the previous Rs. 3,500 crores per month.
SBI Card CEO Vijay Jasuja said that from the fourth position in the industry they have now secured the second position in terms of both customers and average spends.
