Snapdeal partners BoB Financial for contactless credit card

Snapdeal has partnered with BOB Financial and NPCI to launch a co-branded contactless RuPay charge card. The co-branded Mastercard will be equipped with contactless features and will be presented on the RuPay platform.

The Snapdeal-BoB co-branded contactless card, powered by RuPay will be rolled out to clients by March 2022 and will give a scope of remuneration focuses and other benefits to the cardholders both while they shop on Snapdeal and furthermore when they utilize the card at other online and offline transaction points.

“The synergies of this collaboration will assist with accelerating the reception of digital payments, particularly among clients living past India’s metros and Tier 1 urban cities”, said Himanshu Chakrawarti, President, Snapdeal Limited.

Shailendra Singh, MD and CEO, BFSL, said, “We are pleased to hold hands with Snapdeal in our common target of making Mastercard payments popular and rewarding for an enormous number of new clients, who are currently getting acquainted and familiar with online shopping options. We keep on obtaining more clients from non-metros and other smaller locations.
