Subsidy on Electric Vehicles Only for Commercial Vehicles, Clarifies Govt

This Friday, the government said that subsidies for the promotion of electric vehicles across the country will only be available for commercial vehicles and not automobiles that are for personal usage.
Arjun Ram Meghwal who is the Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises said that the government has made it clear that it wants to push electric mobility and one of the measures that it’s taken in that regard is to offer incentives for the commercial fleet owners first.
