Sustainability can help companies become profitable

Building a sustainable business can assist enterprises with getting productive and effective, and gives a chance to organizations to differentiate themselves from others, Accenture CEO Julie Sweet said on Friday.

Talking at the 29th Nasscom Technology and Leadership Forum, Sweet said while the pandemic has affected lives and organizations around the world, individuals have proceeded to associate and connect profoundly with one another.

“Our forecast is that each business will be a sustainable business. We accept that being a sustainable business makes you in reality more beneficial and more effective,” she said.

She referred to an examination that said organizations that have combined sustainability into their business system are 2.5 more successful than the individuals who have not.

Sweet said sustainability incorporates areas like re-skilling individuals, turning out to be more energy proficient and making business more agile, and these efficiencies can help in expanding productivity that impacts costs.

“Sustainable business is one where you are continually reskilling representatives and keep your association more agile and can adjust,” she noted.
