Tiktok launches an edtech platform 'Edutok' in India

On 17th of October, TikTok announced the launch of Edutok platform in New Delhi.
This platform is a learning education platform which will share content related to technology, language, motivation, language and career tips.
The platform has already reached over 48 billion views with more than 10 million pieces of content uploaded with the hashtag #Edutok.
When they launched the Edutok, they said its goal is to democratize learning.
Edutok is not only trying to target the growing edtech market in India online but offline as well. It is collaborating with Josh Talks and the Nudge Foundation for mentorship programs and will have workshops to develop skills on entrepreneurship, identity building, career planning, etc.
