Uber plans expansion in India

Ride-hailing platform Uber on Wednesday said it is enrolling near 250 engineers for its groups in Bengaluru and Hyderabad as it keeps on growing the expand the scope of operations for its engineering and product work in the country.

The current round of hiring will fortify the organization’s rider and driver growth, delivery, eats digital payments, risk, and compliance, marketplace, customer obsession, infrastructure, ad tech, data, safety, and finance technology teams, an assertion said.

These jobs are right now split between the organization’s Hyderabad and Bengaluru tech centers, it added.

“Uber’s development plans are in accordance with its vision to make mobility and delivery more available, and to turn into the foundation of transportation in more than 10,000 urban areas across the globe,” it said.

Uber Senior Director (Engineering) Manikandan Thangarathnam said the groups in Hyderabad and Bengaluru work on significant worldwide orders and pioneer different industry-first innovations.
