Uber to Roll Out PIN-Based Ride Verification Like Ola

This Thursday, Uber Technologies Inc introduced a slew of new features for its ride-sharing and food delivery services. One of these is “verifying your ride” that works on the same system used by Ola Cabs in which customers can verify their vehicle number with a 4-digit unique code.
An official from Uber said that the company also want to go one step further and offer a wireless feature with which the users can automatically verify if they are in the right vehicle by using ultrasound waves. This can eliminate the need to manually punch the 4-digit code for each ride.
