UIDAI to Set Up “Aadhaar Seva Kendras” Akin to Passport Seva Kendras

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) looks to establish “Aadhaar Seva Kendras” based on the Passport Seva Kendras model in 53 cities with an estimated investment of 3-4 billion INR.
The new Aadhaar centers will offer Aadhaar enrolment and updating services and work in addition to the 30,000 existing centers run by banks and post offices.
