A UK court rules that Vijay Mallya who has been involved in loan frauds worth ₹9,000 crores and is wanted in India can be extradited to India to face investigations. The following are some of the key highlights of the story:

  • Mallaya told the reporters that he is considering all the legal options. 
  • He has been given 14 days to appeal, which if he does, then the hearing could take months.
  • Recently, Mallya had tweeted that he is willing to repay 100% of the principal amount to settle the case.
