Wing, Google's drone completes its first drone delivery in US

The wing became the first subsidiary company of Alphabet (parent company of Google) to vary out drone delivery in the United States.

What’s the story?

Wing, which is a subsidiary company of Alphabet, chose to test its drone delivery in a small-town Christiansburg, Virginia. The town consists of 22000 residents.

The drone will deliver products shipped by FedEx, medicine from Walgreens and candies from a local business.

Families have already started ordering medicines and goods. It has been observed that drone doesn’t land on the ground instead they hover above the house and deliver the package with a cable.

The wing was the first company to obtain a license from the Federal Aviation Administration to fly multiple drones at the same time.
