With LS Polls Nearing, UP to Launch Projects Worth ₹340 bn in Bundelkhand
Taking no chances against the United Opposition in the Lok Sabha 2019 polls, the Uttar Pradesh government is going to launch infrastructure projects to the tune of ₹340 bn in the Bundelkhand region. These are Bundelkhand Defense Corridor and Bundelkhand Expressway, the investments of which are estimated to be ₹200 billion and ₹340 billion respectively.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath is seeking to expedite the projects and lay the foundation before the election dates, i.e. March 2019. He has directed the officials to acquire the required land within the next 2 months.
