Woes of Unpaid Salaries: Over 1,000 Jet Airways Pilots Won’t Fly Today

As a large number of pilots of Jet Airways haven’t received their salaries even after a long period, over a thousand of them have decided that they will observe a strike today and won’t fly, the president of National Aviators Guild said.
Jet Airways has been performing poorly on a consistent basis and has a massive debt to repay. It struck a deal with its lenders in March earlier this year under which it was promised another loan of 217 million USD as a rescue move, but it’s yet to receive the money.
