Women entrepreneurs can create jobs in 2030

According to a joint report, in 2030 170 million jobs will be created by women entrepreneurs which is greater than 25% of new jobs needed for the entire working population.

Megha Chawla, partner, Bain and co. said, “There are more than 16 million women entrepreneurs who are providing jobs to 27 million people in India and if we focus on enabling more women’s to start-ups which will create more jobs in the nation.

The report identifies that despite the growth in the Indian economy there is less participation of women in the labour force. Once women entrepreneurs are encouraged, it will help the women to create change”.
