Women Self Help Groups to Get Funds at 7%: RBI

The central bank, RBI said that the women Self Help Groups (SHGs) in the rural areas will get funds at 7% interest from the banks. This provision is made under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) and will be implemented by 19 private and 21 public sector banks.

RBI said that all the eligible women will be able to enjoy interest subvention on loans up to Rs. 3 lakh at 7% rate per year.
