Yes Bank Raises $400 M Loans from Taiwan, Japan

Private sector Yes Bank has raised $400 in loans from the lenders in Japan and Taiwan. It raised $250 million in a five-year commercial loan from 17 banks in Taiwan and $150 million in a one-year loan in the maiden transaction from eight lenders in Japan. Overall, it’s foreign asset book stood at $1.4 billion in September.

This is the second time Yes Bank has raised money from Taiwan. Last year, it had raised $130 million in loans from 10 banks in Taiwan.
