May 10, 2013
Looking for a promotion at work? Well, you will first need to enhance your skills!
Gone are the days when you could stick to one job for years together. In today’s times, it is important to grow. As reported by Times of India, a recent survey by a global recruitment firm stated that almost 69% of Indian employees seek further education to move up the professional ladder.
According to the survey approximately 59% employees surveyed in Europe and 55% in the Americas said they were exploring further skill development. This reflects an overall attitudinal change in employees the world over. Rather than change companies for better monetary gains, they are now seeking to grow in their roles. Even though the average tenure of employees has fallen in the past few years and companies today have to face low retention rates, skill development courses are pointing to a changing scenario.
Management institutes such as Centre For Management (CFM) offer a wide range of courses by which working professionals can enhance their skills while continuing to work. CFM’s one-year executive MBA courses in Marketing and Finance are geared towards upgrading your skills and providing industry-driven knowledge so that you can apply for managerial positions at work. Flexible classes, practical assignments and regular seminars with industry experts have motivated many professionals to sign up for courses at CFM.
