81% of Indian corporate heads prefer hiring graduates with London education, reveals survey
June 26, 2013
Indian graduates with international experience, especially in the United Kingdom, can expect to earn higher salaries and climb up the corporate ladder faster than their India-educated peers.
As reported in The Hindu Business Line, in a survey commissioned by the London Universities International Partnership, a London education is especially valued by Indian employers. Around 81% of CEOs and HR Directors surveyed in nine top Indian cities have opined that Indian graduates who have studied at a London university get a global perspective.
The high level of trust placed on a UK-based education is because it invariably points to a more inclusive method of learning which is not textbook-based, an emphasis on industry interface and access to an international network of companies and students.
At Centre for Management (CFM), one can enjoy the benefits of a UK-based education right here in India. CFM’s PGDBM and Executive MBA courses are accredited by the Association of Business Executives (ABE), a professional membership body and an examination board based out of the UK and established in 1973. More than 50,000 students study ABE courses, which are offered in 518 affiliated colleges around the world. 75 Universities partner with ABE to offer course credit for their qualifications.
In keeping with its aim of being a ‘Bschool of the Future’, CFM’s courses ensure students get a global and industry-oriented perspective. Almost every week, a senior professional visits the campus to interact with students. Corporate luminaries who have interacted with CFM students in the past include Yash Birla, Niraj Ambani and Niranjan Hiranandani, among others. An international board of advisors and guest sessions with international speakers give students access to a strong global corporate network.
