Entrepreneurs read news items, stories and case studies about various new ventures emerging every day, getting incubated at top incubators, receiving seed funds from angels, then going for big round of funding by venture capitalists. This all is happening so fast and continuously, however, most of them do not have the access to experts and experienced entrepreneurs from the domain to understand the trends, opportunities and issues in-depth. This is also intended to create a platform for like-minded people with interest in the domain to come together and learn, share and grow.

This event is free of charge on a first come first serve basis. (Preference will be given to startups)

Speakers:-

Sadeesh Raghavan – IAN Member

Sadeesh Raghavan has worked and lived all over the world. He did his undergraduate at IIT Madras, then his MBA at UCLA USA, and has worked in the US, China, Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, and for the last 4 years has been based both in India and Malaysia/Singapore. He was Managing Director at Accenture where in his last role he ran their Products(Manufacturing & Distribution) practice across Asia Pacific and then most recently all their India businesses. He has spent his career advising MNCs and the top Asian players on their market entry and growth programs and strategies revolving around the rapidly growing Asia Pacific market. He is very active in venture philanthrophy and angel investing and sits on numerous boards including the Global Advisory Board and Investment Committee of Acumen Fund, a US based not for profit venture philanthrophy fund.

Akhil Shahani – IAN Member

Akhil is a serial entrepreneur with ventures in Education, Private Equity, New Media & Non-profit. He is an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Brief summary of his positions include :

Founder of Smart Entrepreneur Network: This runs a portal providing advice to entrepreneurs

Trustee of Shahani Trust: Public charitable trust providing support for Education, Healthcare & low cost housing. Trustees are on the board of 24 educational institutions in Mumbai
