TSCMC organised an open discussion with national award winning film maker, Kamal Swaroop as a part of #CMCEvenings. Swaroop’s documentary ‘Dance for Democracy’ has been waiting for the censor board’s approval since four months. Ironically, the film is based on democracy. The session with the maker of ‘Om dar ba dar’ and ‘Rangbhoomi’, aimed at enabling an ‘uncensored understanding’ of how the freedom to express and create is affected by dictated filtration. “Art is always resistance,” said Swaroop and the insights he shared at #CMCEvenings was also covered by the media extensively.
