TSCMC organized a thought-provoking interaction with Indian fiction and Urdu writer, Rahman Abbas at #CMCEvenings, a platform that enables an influx of ideas. In the light of events involving writers returning their Sahitya Akademi awards, Rahman explained a writer’s agony and the need for every individual to have the freedom of expression. “There comes a point in life when one cannot compromise with the freedom of expression,” declared Abbas and the controversial writer’s session at TSCMC was covered by newspapers like Mumbai Mirror and other online portals.
