S.W.A.G.- Our student’s take on their Live Project.
Can you think what we associated the word swag with?

Yes, it’s a newspaper. SWAG is our college newspaper; it stands for ‘Students With A Gab’ and our tag line justifies our purpose i.e ‘For everything else there’s a newspaper’.

SWAG, the word itself gives us a feeling of style. We believe everyone and everything around us has that SWAG factor. We conducted a survey by asking people ‘What’s their SWAG?’. It gave us the
core idea behind what we need to present SWAG as; what the youth wants to read.
SWAG is a newspaper that the youth could instantly connect to, be it about fashion, food, education or raising some critical issues of the society. This is what makes us different from other newspapers- our survey gave us these key elements and the need to make newspapers more interesting and engaging for the youth. We are all set to release our newspaper this November along with our social media campaigns which are already live and are receiving a good response from the audience.
