MBA programs are quite expensive in India. This is especially the case with the popular business schools like the IIMs. However, most of these institutes offer scholarships that can ease some or all of your financial burden.
Let’s take a look at some of the best scholarships offered by the top business schools in India:
IIM Bangalore
· Aditya Birla Scholarship (Rs. 175,000): Students from the first and second year who are in the top 25% of the top performers are selected for this scholarship.

· OPJEMS Scholarship (Rs. 125,000): Two students from the first and second year each are selected.

· T Thomas Scholarship (Rs. 100,000): A student from the second year is selected for this scholarship on the basis of merit
IIM Ahmedabad
· Family Income Linked Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (Full Tuition Fee): Students whose family income is below Rs. 6 lakhs are selected
· Family Income Linked Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (Full Tuition Fee): Students whose family income is below Rs. 6 lakhs are selected
· IIMA Special Need-Based Scholarship: Scholarships are offered for PGP and PGB-ABM courses to students who come from financially weak families. The scholarship amount is calculated on the basis of family income
· SC/ST Scholarships (Rs. 150 per month for 10 months): SC/ST students who can furnish appropriate certificates can avail this scholarship
MDI Gurgaon
· DAAD Scholarship: Top students are selected by German business schools and scholarships are calculated differently for each student
