The Global Summit on Skill Development 2014 moved towards the objective of using international
experience in
1) Matching supply to current demand for skills,
2) Thereby helping workers and enterprises adjust to change,
3) As well as building and sustaining competencies for these future labor market needs.
It emphasized on “Global Experience – Linking Skills with Productivity”, and the importance on technology as enabler for ‘Make in India’
