₹9,300 cr Worth of Renewable Energy Projects to be Launched in UP by PM Modi

This Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kanpur for the mega “ground breaking” ceremony during which as many as 300 projects worth 65,000 crores will be unveiled. He will also lay the foundation of 9,300 crores worth of alternative energy projects which will go a long way in achieving the target of 10,700 mw of renewable energy capacity.
Uttar Pradesh alternative energy minister Brijesh Pathak said that the state is actively working on the adoption of green energy. He said that proposals totaling 20,000 mw are already under consideration.
