12 Million Jobs Created in Formal Sector in Past 4 Years, Says PM Modi

Dismissing the criticism on the employment issue, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that 12 million jobs were created in the formal sector alone in the past 4 years.
Modi was present at a News18 media group event this Monday when he said that during 2017-18, as many as 500,000 people joined the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), and 10,000 to 11,000 new subscribers were added to the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) network.
