15% discount on AirAsia tickets for Reliance Jio plan subscribers

- Reliance Jio subscribers, who are 72 million in number, can now avail 15 percent discount on their domestic and international travel on Air Asia. This discount can be availed using Air India’s mobile app for the period between June 20, 2017, and September 30, 2017.
- AirAsia is also in the same conversation with Jio and will come up with an offer in 2-3 days. This strategy of Jio-Air India/Asia combination supports Jio’s plan of targeting high ARPU (Average revenue per user) customers.
- RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani had earlier said that platinum customers of Jio will also be offered a series of “specialized, white-glove services such as concierge services and video call centers”.
