20-25% demand surge likely: MSME lenders gear up for festival season
In the midst of the festive spirit sweeping across India, manufacturers and retailers are gearing up to meet the demands of the vast consumer base. Warehouses are brimming with stocked goods, and online platforms are rolling out enticing deals.

Small businesses are also actively participating, offering unique products both in physical stores and online. Ujjwal Kapoor, hailing from a small village near Indore, overcame challenges such as limited market access and financial support. Learning from his father’s retail shop, Kapoor expanded his business, trading agricultural commodities and various local and national brands.

During the 2021 Diwali season, Kapoor faced financial hurdles, losing a wheat auction. However, he found a solution by partnering with Ayekart, a demand aggregation platform. This collaboration provided him access to a wider network of buyers and suppliers, along with easy trade credit, empowering him to meet market demands.

Debarshi Dutta, CEO and co-founder at Ayekart, anticipates a 20-25% increase in demand from business partners. To support this growth, Ayekart strengthened its financial backing, ensuring small businesses efficiently manage their operations. Ayekart stands as a valuable partner, enabling the success of MSMEs by providing market connections and essential supplies, promoting resilience and prosperity.
