50% of Paytm Users Based in Tier II, Tier III Cities

India’s top digital wallet and e-commerce company Paytm said that nearly 50% of its users are located in Tier II and Tier III cities such as Ranchi, Rohtak, Panipat, etc.

In a new report, Paytm said that its app’s success in the smaller cities is because of support for multiple languages.  It said that Hindi is the most preferred language followed by English, Gujarati, Telugu, Marathi, and others.
