67 Cr Bank Accounts Linked with Aadhaar: Ravi Shankar Prasad

According to IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, out of 110 crore bank accounts about 67 crores have been linked with 12-digital UID Aadhaar so far.
Prasad was inaugurating a workshop on Aadhaar services provided by the Common Services Centres (CSCs) when he had a word with the media. He praised the efforts made by village level entrepreneurs towards several services and took note of the fact that a whopping 22 crore Aadhaar enrolments were done by CSCs alone.
Prasad said that CSCs are providing 300 services today that include digital payments training, or GST training, etc.
