75 categories of advertisers emerge during lockdown

The Covid-19 drove lockdown has prompted the development of more than 75 new classifications of advertisers in India, as indicated by TAM’s Adex information.

Running from crystal gazing administrations, hair removers, seed planting materials to veterinary items these sponsors took to broad communications advertising in April this year – TV, print and radio – just from April 2020, and were not promoting before that, as per TAM.

Soothsaying items like Indo Nepal Rudraksha Organization, soft drink creators like Mr Butlers Soda Maker, and so forth took to TV for promoting their items. The print media increased a few new advertisers with nearby kirana stores and departmental stores advertising.

Hat CEO LV Krishnan stated, “The underneath the-line advertising which used to happen before isn’t moving to over the-line to media like TV, print and radio. New classes like cleaning mops, prepared to-prepare food separated from moment noodles have come up”.
