772 mn USD Loan for Pakistan Approved by World Bank

According to a media report, a 772 million USD loan has been approved by the World Bank. It will be mostly used to improve the public and civic transport services in Karachi.

The report said that 652 million USD of the loan will be used for the development of Karachi, and the rest 70 million USD will be used for the improvement of tourism services in the country.

The World Bank said that the projects in Karachi will focus on safe water, public transport, urban management, and sanitation to improve liveability.
