Aadhaar Compulsory for PAN Applications from July 1

Be prepared with your Aadhaar number if you want to apply for Personal Identification Number(PAN) in the near future. As per the new Government order, PAN applicants have to provide their Aadhaar details or the enrolment ID starting July 1, which is also the date when GST is launched.
The central government has already made Aadhaar number mandatory for availing several government services and social welfare schemes.
The 12-digit identification number is also compulsory for opening new bank accounts.
