Aadhaar Data Leak Claim: UIDAI Seeks Details From CIS

Aadhaar authority UIDAI has asked the Center for Internet and Society to provide details to base their claims of “13 crore Aadhaar numbers being leaked”. They have also asked the firm to tell how much “sensitive data” is still with them or someone else and the details of the servers where it is stored.
Although UIDAI had denied any breach of its databases it has sent a letter to CIS before starting an investigation.According to the communication, CIS has been given the time untill May 30 to respond with the details.
