Aadhaar Enrolment, Update Services at Banks to Stay: UIDAI
In a recent interview, UIDAI CEO Ajay Bhushan Pandey said that the Supreme Court’s verdict on Aadhaar that limits its usage doesn’t affect the status quo at the banks and post offices as per which they are required to offer Aadhaar enrolment and update services to the customers.

Pandey said that Aadhaar can still be used in offline mode. Since nearly 60-70 crore individuals have Aadhaar card as their only ID proof, voluntary offline usage will continue, he said.
