ADB to Give $500 mn Loan to Rajasthan for Road Development

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is going to provide the Rajasthan government a loan of USD 500 million in tranches for the development of its road transportation.
According to an ABD release the funds will help improve about 2,000 km. of state highways along with several district roads through upgrades like two-lanes or intermedia-lane standards, etc. under the Rajasthan State Highway Investment Programmer.
The project will also cover other areas such as road safety, project management capacity, and road asset management, etc.
