After Many Sluggish Years Indian Exports to China Soar

After years of tepidness, Indian exports to China spiked in the first four months this year registering an increase of 20% at $5.57 billion. However, the problem of trade deficit continues to exist.

Indian export industry enjoyed increased exports to China this year as the communist country increased its steel consumption along with the demand for gems and diamonds.

From January to April the India-China trade has increased 6% to 26.02 billion.  While the Indian exports have increased 20%, so has China’s exports to India at 14%.
