AI a Game Changer for Food Delivery Apps in India

Online food order apps like Swiggy and Zomato are becoming more and more popular among youngsters and salaried individuals which is why they are now betting big on advanced technologies like artificial intelligence. According to research firm RedSeer, India’s online food delivery network is projected to grow into a 4 billion USD industry by 2020.
Dale Vaz who is the head of Engineering at Swiggy said that the company is using artificial intelligence and machine learning to drive occupational efficiency and deliver better customer experience. Zomato is also working along the lines and has acquired startup TechEagle Innovations to start food delivery with drones.
