AIBEA Seeks Narendra Modi’s Push for Filling Vacancies on Bank Boards

The All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fill the vacancies of office directors on bank boards through a letter.

In the letter, AIBEA Secretary C.H.Venkatachalam said that the positions of directors and workmen in the banks that were vacated during 2014 to 2016 are still open and remain to be filled. He also said that due to that there is no representation of offices on the boards of the banks.

According to Venkatachalam, bank managements, as well as unions have already sent the recommendations for the vacant positions.
