Airtel Payments Bank Partners with HPCL for ATM Services

With about 10 million customers, Airtel Payments Bank has now inked a pact with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited to offer ATM services at its petrol pumps all over the country.
In a recent interview, Airtel Payments Bank’s CEO Shashi Arora said that the government should consider eliminating the requirement of filing Form 60 for the customers that have an annual income less than Rs. 2lakh to help the payment banks to reach a wider customer base. He said that payment banks need a certain leeway so that they can operate differently than the traditional banks.
